cuz I heard that city17 is the last city whit resources in the planet
and I dont think that "armagedon" was happen days after the Black Mesa incident

stay in a real city, in this age, and from someplace apear a strider shooting everywhere human he found and fighting against the army, and all the aliens in the streets, malls, parks killing and destroyng everityng they see and the army trying to kill the aliens but whiout sucess(cuz if city17 is the last place whit humans the aliens must destroy everything) and we are just one person fighting to survive

that will be very cool

The aliens started to invade in HL1. I don't think we need to experience that again. Considering HL1, Opposing Force and Blue Shift pretty much covered it.

hmm not sure that city-17 is the last human city... and i think the whole striders/combine interactions with the citizens would be more subtle than just shoot on sight. hell, maybe the citizens all have some kind of computer chip in them, and the ones that don't have that are rebels or something and the combine eliminate the rebels... i dunno, and i really don't wanna spend too much time guessing.

btw, shouldn't this go in the speculation thread?

edit: oooh okay talking about an expansion. well doesn't seem valve's style to make x-packs that go back in time. like in hl1 all the stories were contemporary. so i'd THINK maybe valve would plan an x-pack that is just a different view-point of the same hl2 story(if they even do get someone to make an x-pack)

but yeah it'd be kinda neat if there was an x-pack (or even a mod) that shows the combine first invading.

and I mean that if that is true, much time must pass while the aliens start to destroy all the world, and invade all the world, starting since black mesa

but I dont think that all was just a alien invasion, something else must be the cause of all this(the combine)
