Vamp got best RPG? Not that it's bad but must have been a slow year for RPG fans.

Best Story: HL2, I love it. Finally someone recognises the depth here without spoon feeding it to you.

Where did HL2 get best story? On IGN it got runner-up to Tribes. I haven't seen it mentioned for story elsewhere (though I personally liked it).

You cant really give the best story award to HL2 yet because the story is not yet finished.. bet it will blow everyone away when HL3 comes out though.

looks to be between HL2 and GTA:SA on IGN then, since they have already hailed HL2 as the best FPS of all time.....that kinda leaves Halo 2 out in the cold.

still think SA will win though, 3 basically identical games in about 4 years isnt enough for some nerds obviously...

as for Gamespy, its between the big 3 : Halo 2, HL2 and GTA: SA.

I guarantee one of the console titles will win.

as for Gamespot, by their scoring, Chronicles of Riddick is a better shooter than HL2 which im not so sure of - has anyone played it who could tell me?

ive played a little bit of the riddick game thing..it wasnt bad...but it was...weird, i dont remember it having a reticule
