I'm stuck in the game help me.....

im at chapter 13: Our Benefactors, i've lost all weapons and now i got the gravity gun the newer one, can't find a way out,killed all the soldiers, there are som gravity force fields but can't get thru them, and there´s a big blue beam i see tried the gravity gun against the blue beam but no luck i hope someone around here can help me out.

I have no idea what part of the level you are at, by there might be an elevator in the middle of the room or you might have to grab energy balls through a force feild to power it down.

ok, i'll try to make it clearer for u

its after the long ride in the huddle, i lose all the weapons, gets the gravitygun the new version of it, When you reach the first shield for which there is no alternative path, and it havent discovered any elevator yet

press f5 and take a picture of exactly where it is, im not up to there...cbf getting futher so i just play to where im up to then restart and do it again

Jump over the fence, there's a corridor that leads to an elevator on the right (IIRC).

aha that's the problem, u see i cant jump, hmmm thougt there was an magnetic floor or something that made u couldn't jump, hmm must be some wrong with my game here, strange cuz i could jump the chapters before this one, well thx everyone anyway

I went mad here as well because I couldn't jump. It turns out that this is a bug that happens to some people - you should be able to jump, so that you can get into the room with the big beam. The way to fix it is to return to a save game where you could jump and play again from there. The place I got this information implied that the fix might not always work but it worked first time for me.

exact same thing happened to me too, just reload to the autosave at the beginning where dog chucks the ATV about

type sv_cheats 1
then noclip
go past the wall, then type noclip again to deactivate it.

Yeah, there's definitely a bug affecting jumping as other people have mentioned it here a few times.

OK...I just had to post about this one. It is a bug! I played the rest of the damn game withouth the ability to jump! Man do I feel stupid. The way I got past that point was to pull one of the monitors off the wall and use it as a ramp to get over the railing. I may be dumb, but at least I am inventive....

Wow, I'm surprised you would even finish the game with a bug like that.... I really tought you were not suppose to be able to jump either... stupid bug.. it drove me CRAZY... good thing I searched and found this post before I broke my comp out of frustration.
