I'm stuck

I'm on follow freeman and I'm bad stuck. I'm with Barney and he sent me into a room that has red lasers everywhere with sentry guns hanging from the ceiling and the hopper mines in the room. I can not figure out how to get past this...I've died about 1000 times trying to get through this and I can't take it any more....no more reloading the level...

please someone help? I've gotten around the corner and then across into another corner where the guns can't see me. I keep sprinting around the last corner (where the health machine is) and it looks like there's a button there that I'm supposed to push (I'm guessing to turn the guns off) but I die just as I push it every time.

please help me if you!

Jump on stuff over red stuff

Right basically you need to NOT SET OFF THE GUNS! Use the room as a jumping challenge and when you come to a hopper mine - grab it with your gravity gun and fire it away somewhere safe (or drop it away behind you).

Anyway with some careful jumping and possibly crouching(plus a bit of manipulator work), you'll be at the button in no time, then get ready......

gasp, cheating on your first time through is scandalous!

basically a bunch of jumping, ducking, and manipulating should do the trick.

It's a jumping puzzle.

You're not supposed to sprint through the lasers and hope to deactivate the turrets before you die.

Go into the room and jump onto the mechanical device that immediately faces you. From them, climb left, and jump onto the next device.

I can't remember the rest of the sequence, but it is a jumping puzzle. Find where the lasers are and avoid them. :thumbs:

Totally stuck there too, right at the end...

i've passed all the lasers except the last ones...can see the health station and the "bouncy bombs" secondary attack for the combine gun...can even get them from their holds with the gravgun...just can't find a way over/around/under the last laser, when i just try to race through it (can see the red buttons) i get to the buttons before the guns fire (door already slams shut) but they buttons don't seem to have a function, i just get slaughtered...is there a way through without cheating? Haven't had to cheat yet, would hate to so close (i think) to the end...

Seriously you can jump the last beam aswell - the whole point is to get to the button without setting off the security guns....one last jump or two is all you need.

you need to use the pipe on the wall furthest from the door you enter to get on the top of the "shelves"

finally did it!

after jumping on the shelf nearest the door (from the other side) for the millionth time, i finally got my toes on the ledge without setting off the laser above the shelf!!! woohoo! from there it was elementary, jump on the pipe, to the shelf, hop off and go over to the red button, everyone then comes in the room, and the next "scene" was absolutetly the most thrilling fps sequence EVER! I wish I had time to admire the skyline/mayhem from the rooftop, but more troops were coming! wow!!
