increasing gamma in CS:S

I have one problem - i have 6years old monitor - so the screen is very dark
adjust gamma in ATI drivers (i have R 9550) doesn`t help me
gamma in options in CS:S is set as MAX and I still have dark screen (not almost dark but in place with shadow it is dark as in night
is there any way to adjust gamma in this game? - becouse in other games adjusting in ATI drivers helps
so this is the qustion:

is there any way to adjust gamma in this game?

Download PowerStrip and set up a new colour profile.

You can also change the gamma during the game (as long as PowerStrip is open) by pressing CtrlShift+ (the + from the right side of the keyboard) or - to decrease.

You can even make keyboard shortcuts for set colour profiles such as one for your desktop and one for gaming.

Watch Switch said, I have the same problem. The only problem is that it expires after 1 year. I downloaded it yesterday - its brilliant. Do 'ctrl + alt + +' or 'ctrl + alt + -' to put the brightness up or down, you can even do it in-game.
