I'm looking for an installer to use with a project I'm involved with for the Source engine. Any suggestions?

I found one, but thanks anyway.

I was looking for a program I could customize to install a mod I'm working on.

Ah ok. Well, MOD installation is very simple since it's only a matter of copying a directory to the right place. I'd personally do it with VB .net but if you don't know how to code there are plenty of installers. This is my favorite : Setup Factory : http://www.indigorose.com/suf/

WinZip and a readme.txt. People who can't unzip things shouldn't be using a computer.

The problem is not winzip, it's that most people don't even understand how the directories work. They don't know how to extract the stuff to the right place and... they can't read. Include a txt saying where to put the files and you'll get a post here asking where to put the files. Too bad I know...

Couldn't you use that winzip self extractor?
Dunno how to make it though, just an idea.
