Interesting virtual reality/AI experiment using Source

It talks about a group of researchers building an artificial world based on the Source engine (they say Counter Strike, but the screenshot there clearly shows Breen and what looks like Alyx in the background) and hoping that the artificial inhabitants will build up their own society.

Sounds fairly doubtful to me, but I wish them luck.

Just thought I'd draw this to people's attention of an interesting project spawned by HL2's technology.
