hell yeah, the source engine portal technology will totally dominate. the physics did really suck with the doom engine.

Pretty cool. You can see some rendering limitations though. For instance, when the player's in the infinite loop, you see it's not rendering anything beyond the second or third portal when you look down.

In prey it doesn't render anything past the 1st portal. While looking into 1 portal you cant see through the 2nd. Until you leave the 1st and get close enough to the 2nd. In Valves Portal that's not a issue.
