What has hl2world ever done that would challenge its credibility. You guys may disagree with the posting of screenshots or whatever, but an interview is an interview, and hl2world has never announced anything false.

We'd play this insanely primitive character mode Star Trek game by feeding a deck of punch cards in, racing over to the line printer to see what the computer did next, and then typing in a new punch card on a machine that was about the size of my current office. If you don't know what "batch mode" and "punch cards" are, just imagine two barbaric-looking children in animal skins smacking rocks with sticks.

Basically, there have been a number of fake interviews around so we're kinda supicious when someone turns with what is probably the worst interview I've ever seen in my life. You barely acknowledge the existance of Half Life 2 for gods sake.

I'm not trying to argue here, but where does it say that an interview with a person has to have anything to do with HalfLife 2. The community is running out of questions that aren't fanataical, and as Feedbag said:

Jebus, you don't give up do you? Why in the world do you think the interview would be faked? We had some interesting questions and got some interesting answers. I thought it was a great interview. So unless you come up with some evidence please get off the soap box and let everyone else enjoy it.

Also, I think it was damn nice of Feed to give all you guys a heads up about the new interview. With the past animosity between the sites there was no reason he had to do that, so it was a nice gesture and should be appreciated not ridiculed.

I jsut found this extreamly funny, as the news post on your site below the interview is a link to software that converts HL2 textures to .tga. Not promoting anyhting illegal? You're hosting software that was developed off an illegally aquired game, tell people how to modify thier illegal copies.

Well, by the request of the person implicated these posts, I'll add his response.

As the author of the software, I just wanted to clarify. The application I created is not illegal, and contains no stolen source code nor utilities. The applicatoin itself can do nothing. When the sdk is released, there will be an application that will allow modders to convert textures into .tga's, however, it is limited in that it can only do one at a time. As it turns out, this utility was among those files stolen from valve.

The application I created is a frontend for converting multiple textures at once, and it was created for the modding community. Currently, there is no sdk, and the app is useless (but apparently its just around the corner). I don't like the inference about the legality of the app, especially when it was posted in a closed thread where I couldn't defend myself.

I would Like to add that to develop this tool, he must has used the files from the stolen game, which is what I was saying in the first place. I'd also like to add that I wasn't just talking about that app, but the whole section of thier forum deicated to hosting tutorials on running and modifying the illegal files from the stolen game.
