Is HL2 the worse compatibilty ever ?

hmm it seems somany are having trouble with HL2 all over the place is HL 2 the worst record ever ?. Reasson i say this is i have nver had any prob with any game i couldn't fix. Some just required driver updates soem need window mode some other things. how ever with HL2 there is nothin i can do about it it wont work and thats it. There are no other ways to try boot it up ether as i found with some games if they dont work add a code to the target feild and all is fine. So just asking is HL2 the worst ever for this ? its completely amazing how they could realise this and when will i b able to play it when a patch coem out ? i wont so have to takeit back to the shops ? or do i have to get a new pc ? i really feal completly riped off by this game and really wonder whats wrong and what will b done about it :S.

All games have these problems. People posting on forums about the issues they are having. Fact of the matter is, it is a minority of the people actually playing the game, since most are engaged within the game and have no need to post.
