Is this website a Valve franchise, or just pro-Valve?

I ask this because I created a thread questioning Valve's marketing strategies and it mysteriously disappeared. I do not blame anyone but myself, since I was the one who erroneously thought this was an independent website where all opinions were welcomed.

Now, as to what I asked in the title of this thread, I doubt this website is owned by Valve, or that it is some sort of franchise for that matter; my best guess is that the owners of this place operate under the assumption that if all their members say good things about Valve and HL2, maybe some day they will get to have lunch with Gabe and all his pals. Who knows, maybe they already have?

It can be said it is open to all opinions but it has to be under moderation with some topics. Some of your recent threads have posed questions of whether or not you are a troll. I would watch yourself on that, because when this forum feels someone is a troll, it gets rather, ugly.

No, this site is privately owned by an independent third party. The rules that govern and control its operation are defined by these third parties.

Now, looking at your post history (as outlined by another, more community minded member) seems to show that all you do is bash valve, the company that made the game this website is dedicated to.
Of course, criticisms are fair, and acceptable, but creating an account at these forums for the sole purpose of complaining about valve and putting forward arguments/thread that are completely moronic in nature (eg the sex thread) is just plain trolling.

This is your only warning (which I am linking you to in a PM- but since you have complained about the fate of your threads before, I doubt that will be needed). Any more trolling/flamebait will be met with a ban.
