...to start beating the war drums. We all know what is this community able to do. We believed in VALVe and in HL2 and followed them through many missed dates and lies, we were going on, while many of the fans fell under the heavy burdens of disappointment and lost faith. We're getting tired of it, but we can finally see the light now! But it seems, that is fading away again because of someone.

We hunted down the hackers, what a unique act of symbiosis between a game developers and their fans that was. It was incredible, no one thought this could actually happen. But it did.

Now I ask the community to rally again. We need to contact Vivendi Universal and make sure that it won't try to do anything smart with HL2. Or else...

We need to make a petition or something like that, send thousands of emails to Vivendi, spread this idea to other forums etc. WE CAN'T JUST WAIT HERE FOR SOMETHING TO HAPPEN AND DO NOTHING, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!!!! WE MUST NOT LET OURSELVES BE OVERLOOKED BY VIVENDI!!!!! :angry: WE MUST AT LEAST TRY!!!!!

Could you be a bit more constructive. We must at least make sure that VU will publish HL2 ASAP, like the rest of their games, that they would not try to extort VALVe by delaying the game. All these thread about VU vs. VALVe that are taking place now are actually pointless, because we don't know jack about what are VU's intentions. Does anybody know any email of VU?

I'm afraid Varg|Hund is right. You have absolutely no say in whatever Valve or Vivendi do with these matters, it's their business. And having a few fanboys post in some thread on an online forum wont change that.
