Alright, I'm going to put it out in the open. Valve is run by sick, sick people.
Today the last piece of the puzzle was confirmed for me, but I'm going to make it clear for those who don't understand.
First, look at the chapter name, "Point Insertion". Obviously sexual overtones, and the fact that phallic-shaped stunsticks abound throughout this area of the game, clearly show Valve's obsession with penile imagery.
Second, the strider's power "singularity cannon" looks suspiciously like an immense, biomechanical penis, that shoots "space-warping" "beams" from it's "weapon".
Third, and most obviously, the Hunter's melee attack, we see in demo 5 of Episode Two, in which it grabs a Rebel medic, and smashes him to the ground. Now at first this may seem rather innocent, but a perusal of the Wikipedia article put it in a new light.
The action take a whole new meaning: the Hunter sexually assaults a medic, which Valve will probably explain as part of the Combine's new campaign to psychologically intimidate the rebels, even though I can see right through their pixelated veils, and see the clear marks of a conspiracy!
Valve has some sick, sick people, who delight in poisoning the minds of our youth!
If you see any other signs that I missed, do not hesitate to post with the details!

Note the plural! "appendages"!the Hunter lifts and slams its enemy, using peculiar appendages originating on its underside.

No, I'm not serious, if you're wondering. I was just having a little fun.
