Jason X

I watched it (Jason X) last night and thought it was very dodgy, but I wasn't expecting anything else. Infact, for me the highlight was the man getting a cup (i think it was a cup) stuck to his hand.
Anyway, I noticed a weird similarity in style to UT. Has anyone watched the film and noticed this?
It was just the guns and the weird armour they were wearing and the ship, anyway, what do you all think?

Anyway. Ive heard of the film but i have no idea what its about. Could you possibly fill me in? Sounds like one of those freaky "cult cinema" films.

lol haven't seen the movie either but I wouldn't be suprised if it was "dogdy"(I think that's a mild way to put it)...what have they done? turned it into Jason in space or something?

Actually yes they did :dozey:

He(and a girl) were frozen for a long time then they revive them with their new technology on a space ship leaving for another planet...And the girl doesnt have enough time to warn them not to unfreeze him..So then he goes on through the space ship killing people

It was a very typical horror movie.
Basically, there is the Jason dude and he is a bad ass killer, so some sort of goverment people, I think, decide to cryogenically freeze him, but then they decide not to and that they will transport him accross the country in order to investigate his ability to regenerate parts of himself, or something.
However, Jason escapes and kills all of the people at the place he's being kept apart from one woman, who manages to cryogenically freeze him, but there is a leek in the cryogenic freezing thingy and she gets frozen too.
A long time later, some blokes find both of them and take them back to their spaceship, believing that Jason is dead.
They revive the woman and Jason gets thawed out while some woman is examining him and he come back to life.
He goex around killing people, until some robot woman shoots the crap out of him and he dies.
By this time, they have already accidently crashed into a huge spaceship they were supposed to be dokcing at.
They then try to escape the ship, onto another ship, but when Jason died, he just happened to land on a healing machine thingy, which heals him, bu due to lack of tissue to rebuild him from, he is all metal and machine like.
He tries to kill the remaining people and thye think they've blown im up, but he comes back and tries to kill them again.
In a weird coincidence, the doors to the ship they are trying to escape to break and some man has to go outside and fix them.
He comes back too late and takes on Jason whilst the ship flies away.
Jason and the man enter the earth's (earth 2, I think) atmosphere and it is unclear whether Jason is still alive, but two people see him land in a lake and go to have a look.

There, that is the storyline for those of you who are curious.
Sorry that the thread only applied to those people who had seen the film.
