I know there was talk of this in the beta and I am still seeing the same thing in the full release of CS: Source.
I experience a kind of 'jittering' in gameplay, mostly noticable when panning left and right. Now the FPS isn't dropping at all, mostly its above 100. This is with everything on 'recommended' (which is all high and dxlevel 9) using an Athlon XP 2500 @ 2.4Ghz, 1Gb Corsair Pro ram, Radeon 9800Pro, 1024x768, 2aa / 2af. Doesn't make a difference whether I use vsync or not, or what I set the refresh rate too nor what I set the various cl_rates to.
Now heres the weird thing. When spectating in 1st person view, this disapears completely and it is perfectly smooth. I mean 'Quake 2' smooth
Its only when actually playing. So this tells me my system is capable of handling the source engine.
Very annoying. Anyone had this and managed to fix it?
