You read it correctly. The script of the 4th sequel to the major Hollywood blockbuster, Jurassic Park, has been leaked onto BitTorrent. The title of the script is ?Dawn of Extinction: Jurassic Park?, and production of the movie hasn?t even started yet!

Possibly the most popular film of the early nineties, Jurassic Park made more money at the box office than any film before it, and was only topped only by Titanic some years later. This was before the Internet, in 1993. 14 years later and the script to the fourth sequel has been leaked and uploaded to BitTorrent.

The script was uploaded to a popular semiprivate BitTorrent tracker by a certain ?xbadwolfx? 6 days ago. He claims that it is the original copy, and that he has ?friends in the company?, but reminds downloaders that the production team might have made slight changes to it after the time of his receiving it.

What?s interesting is that one of the concept images xbadwolfx uploaded to the torrent site displays the title of the movie as ?Jurassic Park: New Dawn?, while another image says ?Jurassic Park IV?. Both these images don?t match the title of the script, which is ?Dawn of Extinction: Jurassic Park?. Also, one of the concept images has the year ?2006″ printed on it.

Despite those discrepancies, the script itself seems to be legitimate. According to the uploader, it is confirmed that all the original Jurassic Park (1) characters are back. What?s yet to be seen is whether Hollywood will actually go ahead and make this movie.

We?re not linking to the torrent for obvious reasons. Although, it?s rather easy to find.

Update: Turns out, the script?s a fake. I guess we should have taken a hint when we found three different titles for the movie. Thanks to Icaterus for letting us know.

What do you think is this script is really a fake? or they just don't want to know us.

"All the original Jp characters are back"

Like Nedry and Muldoon? Don't think so. They died.

First 3 movies were based off the books anyhow. I don't think some random Joe could submit a script for JP and have it be approved.

No more like: Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ellie Sattler, Dr. Ian Malcolm, John Hammond, Ray Arnold

Anyway hoax or no hoax, the forth movie really is in production I saw it in a list with upcoming sequels along side confirmed movies such as Indiana Jones 4 and Die Hard 4.

Were there only three books?

Jurassic Park is so overrated...

The books are so much better than the movies.

I downloaded the script about 25 minutes after it was uploaded onto Demonoid (just happened to be on looking for the JP movie actually) and read some of it, I figured it was fake from the start.

Remus, only 2 books. The first movie was the only good one, but both books are amazing (and quite different from the movies)

The movie is pretty good, you have to admit. Whilst the books are leaps and bounds ahead (evil-twisted Hammond ftw) of the movies, the first JP film isn't bad by any means. I really liked it.

Yeah, but every time I watch it... I get the feeling that it could've been so much more.

I think it was a perfect example of how not being faithful entirely to the book works - it's fairly stripped-down and well-constructed, well-suited to a 90-minute movie format.

Anyway, I guess this is fake, though I might read it for fun. Any good...?

Damn Jurassic Park was huge back then. I even copied the film when it came out and still have it.

Even a Pirate back in the day, eh? I remember that was the first movie I ever saw in theaters.

which come first the books or the movies?

I believe the first movie was based on a book but I'm not sure

Astoundingly the movie of Jurassic Park was an adaptation of the book called Jurassic Park. What are the odds?

The same goes for the second book and movie, but that saw such major departures from the actual text that it hardly counts, the only thing unchanged is the name. Jurassic Park III was a totally new story from the ground up.

I envision a flyby across the planet, (fade in ** Jurassic Park 4 title **) mostof the planet seems to of been taken over by dinosaurs ( title fade out ** ) camera continues flyby across land ... sweeping pan up shot to Darth Vader on a mountain top, * raises hands *

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

I smells me a ****ing blockbuster.

I agree the movie worked quiet well. Though I wish Muldoon had lived, like in the book. Mmm... Spas-12 shotty.

Hunt for Red October is another example... great movie, boring book (and i'm a military geek, too).

Fake or not, what troubles me with a fourth JP movie is how on earth are they going to create a decent plausible plot after what we've seen from the three last movies.

I mean, hasn't it all been covered already? The first movie worked well as an introduction to the dinosaurs and Mr. Hammond's theme park with its unevitable doom. The second, well, they got back there for whatever reason, bad stuff happened, people got killed...and the third? Don't even talk about that one.

But what else is there to explore? We already know dinos live on those islands. Why bother going there again or taking the dinosaurs back to mainland?

If they decide to go ahead with a fourth movie I truly hope it'll be the last. Also, don't you think it would be better if they'd make it R-rated this time? ;)

"I'M TIRED OF THESE MOTHER ****IN' DINOS ON THIS MOTHER ****IN' ISLAND!"

Well from what I've heard the dinos find a way to the main land by themselves (South America) and proceed to **** up the ecosystem LOL.

In real life if the incident with the theme park had happened they would've Nuked the dino islands from orbit, no joke.
