Wow, I just got a phishy email. It requested my credit card # and stuff like that. It was from eBay. Luckily I just saw something on Tech TV taht said not to open it and give info. And I noticed the spelling error " eBay Account Uptaded". Just a warning to you all not to open any email of this kind.

heh i saw the title and thought you were about to tell us how drunk you just got or something :)

sounds like a close call then
you'd think people going to so much trouble to con others out of thousands of dollars would atleast run a spellchecker through the stuff first

I got something very similar a while back from ebay.com (.co.uk account) asking me to update my credit cards or I wouldnt be able to bid on certain items, so stupidly I clicked it and 2 mins later realised that maybe it wasnt a good idea to input my details on a non 'https' server, so i closed it.

Phishing is back folks, and its not just for AOL passwords anymore!

What you should always do is type in 10-20 fake credit card numbers or what else and submit them. The guy will go crazy sorting out the real ones from the fakes.

I do the exact same thing when i find those Phishing pages that look like Hotmail or something. I make up all sorts of names and credit card numbers just to piss em off.

Yeah. Sometimes I screw with their heads, but you gotto be careful or they'll add you to every spam list ever.
