Ok I know someone's already asked about this, but i need an answer soon so i want this to be noticed lol. Anyways, my keys seem to lock whenever they're held down for more than 2 seconds, and my mouse won't move while the keys are locked. For example, when i start walking (with 'w') the forward motion locks and I can't stop it; it stops itself (kind of reminds me when a system lags and the blinker moves slowly in a text box, then everything appears really quickly). Is there anyway to fix this? I'm thinking it's probably the input response time that needs to be adjusted, but i'm totally clueless at programming so a helping hand would be awesome! Thanks!

I never had such a problem but why dont you try pressing Shift 4-5 times. It is a sticky key so when you do it it will open a window with the key settings. Maybe you can deactivate this lockups from there. It may work.

Are you using wireless equipment?
And what are your computer specifications?

specs

i've already tried stickykeys, not working. I've just tried to run half-life 1 on my comp and had the SAME issues as half life 2. And since everyone knows half-life one should have no problems running on a modern system, i'm completely lost on why this happens cuz it only seems to do this on Valve's HL engine...go figure.

(btw this has nothing to do with online play, i'm not an online gamer)

my specs are:

Intel Celeron @ 2.4 GHz
Radeon IGP 320M (i know, but integration's a pain)
768 Mb RAM
(System Managed Page File)
40 Gb Hard Drive
Windows XP SP2

if there's anything else...lemme know! Thanks!

Well, with a card like that, I wouldn't be surprised if I got framerate lag in HL2 :p (Although the HL1 problem is still odd :|)
