Keyboard Controls or??

Hi guys,

I have a problem where when I USED to press either strafe (L or R) with either forward or backward, I was able to move in a diagonal direction. I was messing around with a custom spray thing... I copied my CZ userconfig file in the cbf directory, then deleted it (cause it didnt work). Then tried to get everything back to normal - and now I can't move diagonal! This is really annoying, its hard for me to maneuver now and dont fee like playing anymore .

Can someone help? Cheers in advance. Also sorry if this is the wrong place to post.

just go into options while in game and set the controls under keyboard. a for left w for forward s for backward d for right and it should work. if you press aw it should go diagonal forward at the same time. Check the keyboard set up to see what going on. Or just hit default and reset all your controls. Should be too hard. Good luck.

Thanks for your tip. But i've done that many many times. Resetting keyboard to defaults, etc etc. Pressing the strafe (L/R)+ forward or back doesnt let me go diagonal in any direction. Any other suggestions?

Please help, I miss playing source!

R3M0 you could delete your config file, CS creates a new one by default whenever you launch the game.

um....How about reformat your hd. J/k. I guess if all else fails you can erase your cs.s downloaded folders from steam and then just download them all over.....Im sorry I dont have a solution for you. Latest patch may have pwned your keyboard. I know since the last patch, I have to wait 5 to 10 minutes after hitting play games on steam for the source beta main screen to even pop up. Pain in the butt. If you find out what works post it in case others are having the same prob.

try another keyboard...friends did same with regular CS a while back. different keyboard worked fine.
