This is an issue which will occur on any mod which I create, whether it is created using the Source 2007 code or the Ep1 code, without modifying a single line of code myself before building the solution.
Sprites that are attached to weapons don't change all of the angles properly in relation to the way that you're facing, and because of this, the laser dot emitted from the rocket launcher will clip through brush geometry depending on your angles, and the gravity gun glow effect will cut into the gravity gun when you're looking up.
I don't know what would cause this, but I am certain it is a code related issue, that is not only happening to me. I couldn't find an explanation or fix on the Valve developer wiki, though I felt I had searched thoroughly, and would greatly appreciate a way to fix this issue.
