Large-scale physics

I was messing around in Garry's Mod v5, and I decided to see how the physics engine would respond to a huge structure. It ended up being quite a large (heh) undertaking, and I ended up with a frighteningly large catapult. I don't think words can properly express its magnificence. But pictures can! :naughty:

Here is the savegame
You need Garry's Mod V5 and Buildingblocks_final. Then just switch the shotgun over to the biggest cannister, and press Use. Enjoy!
 
I get this when trying to load ur save:

CModelLoader::Map_IsValid: No such map 'BuildStuff_v1_5'
and yes, I have buildingblocks_final

But you dont have the BuildStuff_v1_5 map :rolling:

How much fiddeling did that take to make?
 
way too much. i had to lower the gravity to like 50 so i could even move the arm with the manipulator gun. not to mention getting it to move.
 
quite cool stuff there - shows what you can do with the engine when you put your mind to it...
 
Go make a crousel w/ the shotgun and maxx out the speed. It starts to jump and actually raddles the ground.!!!

dude, thats far beyond awesome. i will be trying this out tomorrow.
 
eh...i don't have any problems with buildstuff. i find it a much better map than buildingblocks. there's just way more to work with (camera, monitor, etc.)
