Left 4 dead 2 crashes at loading screen

When i turn on Left 4 dead 2 in steam and watch the valve logo and then the video at the start of the game. then it has the loading screen (at the right bottom corner it says loading). it just closes. no windows saying it stoped responding just closes completely. Any help would be appreciated

I'm having the same exact problem too but with Day of Defeat Source.

@ Damic, this may work for him but I tried it on my own problem. Never worked out.

i launch it from the library, and the problem is fixed, not sure how, i think it was fixed in an update, thnx for the help tho, and sorry for the late responce I completely forgot about this
