lil thirdperson view request

Hi,

i´m a 3d artist.. have some experience with coding but havn´t done something for hl2..

my question is:

how can i get a working thirdperson view with NO v_model (like some of you already build) AND a full animated playermodel (like hl2dm-models) into the singleplayer game?
infact the same stuff that hl1 already had...


Best would be some mini-mod i could place into the halflife2 dir ( don´t know what has to be recompiled)

does anybody already created something like that?

don´t need this for a mod.. only for my own purpose, and if noone already made this and if it´s not too difficult, i´ll try it by my owne
but help is always appreciated

Perhaps there is a console command to hide the v_model? And then you could just play Garry's Mod to get the full player model...
