This is ridiculous! All set for Sept' 30th and then nothing but utter BS! THIS IS WHAT HAS HAPPENED:
Valve started on HL2 sometime in the past 5 years:
Viviendi, having published HL1, either have a contract to publish the game OR believe they do:
As completion / release nears Valve hit on the idea of releasing through STEAM, therefore slashing potential Viviendi sales:
Valve also auction bundling rights to ATI for a reported $8 million, further frustrating Viviendi (lets face it, we're all gonna need new cards to play this beast!):
Viviendi enters litigation againgst both Valve and ATI, which in turn delays the release indefinitely:
A torrent of misinformation is put out there by Valve while they try to buy time and calm Viviendi:
And of course the finale...... The gamers get P***ed off and buy 'Call of Duty'.:sniper:
