Does anyone have problems with loading, right in the middle of action? It loads for me right in the heat of battle and that is just junk! Would more RAM decrease this? I currently have only 512MB.

Load points are the same for everyone, but more RAM would speed up the loads.

That sucks! Why did they have to load in the heart of battle?! :( Oh well, the game still rocks mah sox! :D

Neither did I...maybe when there was one combine soldier coming down the stairs, but that only happened once, all the other times were in tunnels for like the Buggy or in hallways with no action.

Ram dosent seem to help me, I have 1 gig of DDR3200 and my loading times are still quite long

I'll be driving that water ship and being shot by the helicopter deal and have to make a jump and mid-air it stops to load!

My comp is on 512 DDR RAM and it takes between 40-45 seconds to load...not bad, the 45 seconds gives me some time to crack my knuckles, take a sip of a drink, and catch my breath before being thrust back into battle.

loading time are relavant to the speed of your hard drive and processor basically, although most people will be limited with hard drive speeds as so many people have p4 3+Ghz :/ with my pitiful laptop HD with a 5400rpm it gets abit anoying. And I know the points where you are talking about although usually you are either jumping out of a tunnel or the helicopter has gone away.

Ive had to do this boat chase thing multiple time due to a lack of memory and my system crashes if too much is happening when it tries to autosave, this can get very tedious :/ although great game despite the many bugs that have been found already :s

This is just what I think anywayz any1 know any more?

load times

I initially began playing with all of the advanced options turned on high and the highest resolution. The load times became excurciatingly long so I put most of the advanced settings to medium, and 1024X728 and the load times are a lot shorter. The game still looks great too.

I'm sure most people have already thought about turning their settings down if they're having long load times, but just in case anyone is trying make themselves believe they have a superior monster machine... maybe you should tune down.

yeh it happens if u put the textures on high. i gt the same problem where everything freezes and the hard drive goes crazy for a while thts when things are being 'swapped' from the ram to the hard disc since it doesn;t have enough space to keep it all on. i'm gna order some ram and it should go away. dn;t worry it hardly ever happends in indoor places

Also what you may think is just loading is many times just the game auto-saving. My rig always freezes for half a second to a second every time the game autosaves, and it often does autosave whenever you reach milestones in large action sequences (ie a battle that is fought in 3 waves, you'll probably find it saves before and after the battle, as well as inbetween each wave.... even if the previous wave wasn't fully killed off before the next arrives!)
