I'm in the market to replace my aging NEC MultiSync 97F 19" CRT. I've done some research, but before I start listing candidates I would like to know if anyone has any recommendations that they have experience with, or have heard of. I'm not the most tech-savvy guy out there, so many of the terms are quite foreign to me.
Requirements:
I'll be using the monitor for games (mostly FPS), web, photoshop, movies, etc... the standard lineup of a student. I'm not sure if I want to go the widescreen route - can someone list the pros and cons? I'm looking to spend around $300 CAD before tax.
