Looking for Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Players

I just got this game and was wondering if anyone else played it. It seems like nobody likes to use the chat so it's hard to get attention. :cheese:

This game was the biggest disappointment of the year for me. It just wasn't what it was hyped up to be.

What really killed it for me was the lack of blood/gore and grittiness. FFS, it's a Quake game, saying that and claiming left and right that they're not competing with Battlefield is ridiculous.

I loved the in-depth explanation one guy gave at quakecon. That word for word perfectly described how UT assault works.

From what ive seen on the forums here, the only people who at least somewhat liked it are atomic, and stern.

I havn't tried it yet. And I doubt I'll like it, but I sort of want it on my shelf in case it gets popular sometime. And if I'm bored. :|

I actually enjoyed the gameplay very much, they managed to keep it at a very 'Quake' pace. I'm sure It'd have quite the playerbase if it was free like Wolf-ET .

I'd love to play it after an expansion or heavy patch. But it's not up to snuff where it is right now. I played the beta and the demo.

Yeah I play it and love it, im also in a clan called multigamers. I think a lot of people played the beta or demo a few times and just gave up. the game has already had a few patch's and there is another 1 due just after the new year.

It takes a while for you to get into the game but once you do you'll be loving it, best multiplayer FPS out atm imo.

Got it with my 8800GT the other day. Can't really say I like the game. Just can't get into it for some reason. I'd much rather play the old Enemy Territory game.

the game is definately "feel good" video game of the year imho ..you'll feel good about your skills as you repeatedly pawn the noobs who have no clue how to play the game but try their best at playing the cannon fodder class

Huge let down for me this game, a waste of money so far, but Id like t give it a go with some of u guys on a european server.

It's at Best Buy for $20. Extremely tempted to buy the game, and I'm downloading v2.0 of the demo right now (has the v1.4 changes of the game).

If any of you are playing right now, here's your chance to convince me. I've played the beta and demo, how's the population/community?
