I am currently looking to put together a team to work on a Sci-Fi themed mod for Half Life 2.
I’m looking for people who are dedicated, gaming enthusiasts who really want to ‘craft’ a gaming experience as a TEAM, as opposed to have one or two people running the show. I want everyone to be able to interact with every aspect of development as an admirer and a critic. I don’t expect anyone of us to know EVERYTHING but I do expect that everyone in the group have the drive and dedication to move whatever ideas we all settle on forward. I would also hope that we could become a tight enough team that we can move onto other projects afterwards.
(I have a ton and a half worth of ideas, but before I put anything in concrete I want everyone to have more than just a say in what is going on)
Me – I’m a sophomore CS major at NMT (currently in the process of transferring out though). I’m pretty laid back and love music, movies and games. I think that gaming can someday become as rich an art as movies and music. I know code (lol), have a pretty firm grasp on how to use the SDK mapping tools and have enough Photoshop experience to work on textures and do a pretty decent job.
If your interested in working on this project, or just really need more details feel free to email me at [email protected].
-Thanks
