i was playin hl2death match on my fav server and all of a sudden i lose connection.all other servers r up and runnin fine ppl r still playin on the server i lost connection from.but i try to rejoin and it says server not responding.can anyone help me

Hi all. So, quick question.
I was playing HL2: Deathmatch on my favorite server and suddenly I lost connection. All other servers were up and running fine, and people were still playing on the server I lost connection from. But when I try to rejoin, it says "Server not responding." Can anyone help me?

I should also point out that your thread title is very vague (even after fixing it). Someone who sees it won't gain any information from reading the title other than you have a question or problem.
You should have named it something like "Unable to connect to server, help" or "Lost connection, server up but can't join"
That way you are describing your problem and it's already implied that you need help.

Hmm... maybe: I think the player-section of the server browser just outright lies sometimes, or reports outdated information. The server may have simply stopped working, everyone got booted, but the old player-roster could be being reported simply because no newer information is available from the server (because, well, it's dead).
You should just join another server for a bit and try again later.
hl2 is a great game i have tf2 and dont evenlike it.anyways problem went away.but it was weird, my freinds were still playin but i couldnt join.it would jus keep tellin me server not responding.but know it works jus fine.thanks anyways
drink a few of these and then proceed to play modern games like tf2
