Pavarotti dead at 71

MODENA, Italy (Reuters) - Legendary Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti, who brought opera to the masses, died on Thursday after a battle with cancer. He was 71.

Very sad indeed. I feel bad for anyone born from today and on because they were never alive when Pavarotti was. ;(

Indeed. A great man with a great voice, he always seemed so happy and healthy whenever I saw him, I didn't even know he was ill (or actually that old) until it came on the news that he was dead.
