Making a Map in half life 1

Sorry to sound noobish and all, but im trying to make a half life 1 map.

for a university project! so it needs to be in half life 1 or CS, this is due to the computers i will be running it on will be very low spec.

but in steam i cannot find anywhere a original half life editor for maps.

No problem.

Also, you might want to look into Zoner's Half-Life Tools which are apprently better than the default compile tools.
