I was wondering, where can I find manuals on how to use Gimp, for blending and making everything more textured, and on that note, what program would you recommend for 3D stuffs?

-Thanks in advance

Gimp documentation can be found here.

As far as manuals for manipulating images and bending them to your will... there probably has to be millions of free tutorials out there on the internet, you just have to search for them.

For 3d stuff, definitely check out blender. It's free and it's SUPER powerful. So much so that people who use maya and lightwave and 3dsmax and some of the other big 3d programs say it's really good. It's just that it doesn't get as much attention in the corporate world as the others do, even though it's almost as powerful(and in some cases even more powerful).

There are some free video tutorials out there if you can find them.

Awesome, once again Raz, I thank you
however, the Gimp document is going through Adobe, and all I get is a blank internet page
The Blender program is a bit odd to use, but I am learning, I already re-shaped mah cube!D:

I've heard from many people that Blender has a high learning curve, since it's sort of unconventional compared to other 3d modeling programs... but stick with it and learn the ropes and you can be good!

As for the documents... I'm not sure. Maybe try this link?
