I know this toptic has been discussed before but...
The Strider fights are great, but I miss the Strider scenes from the E3 videos! I think Valve is evil because they clipped it away hehe :smoking:

And why did they clip away the Hydras?
Who says we really need to FIGHT them?
Who says Valve can't make a puzzle, like the first tentacle thing in Half Life 1?
Valve does, unfortunatley....

those were "proof of concept" designed to show of the game/engine at e3.

a lot of things got cut because valve felt they either wouldn't work well or wouldn't fit the game.

Yes, it's been discussed before, in fact it's been discussed to death. There are dozens of topics asking where the Hydra/Traptown/E3 Strider fight is.

A simple search would have been better than wasting keyboard strokes to type this up.

so sick of people and the things missing in HL2 threads. Obviously if it isnt in the game, valve had a reason not to put it. I think valve is smart enough to know what works in a game, and what doesnt fit. I trust they did the right thing.
