map won't load

after I compile the map, counter strike source opens. And it just takes me to the main menu of cs. Trying to create my own server for my custom map ends in the same result. In hammer I have spawn points for t and ct. Everything is sealed off so there is no black void. The roof is a sky box. The other 5 walls are just that, walls. The check for errors feature says there are no errors. No error messages come up in cs. The funny thing is that it works or other maps I have created. Just not this one. What could I be missing?
