you said there will be a preview tonight. well, its tonight, and i dont see any previews listed there..

Edit: A couple of new things, confirmation of an antlion king/queen creature, taunting in TF2 based on weapons, and the specifics of the challenge portal modes (#steps, #portals, time taken).

Woohoo! Looks better than the artwork we saw earlier. Except for the lightning thing. That looks like something from HL1!

Meh, not too much new information contained in there. I'm interested to see what kind of "relationship" the G-Man has with Alyx.

Also, those "snide" comments made by Alyx don't seem to fit in quite right.

Hm, so will there actually be an Antlion King/Queen? Or did they mix up Antlion Guard and Antlion King/Queen again..
 
That remains to be seen. Going through RTB, there was indeed an Antlion King that was to be included in HL2. But there was no place for it, and the creature was cut. It is entirely possible that the "King" they refer to is just another Guard, or is indeed the 60-foot-tall behemoth mentioned in RTB.

It's the Guard.

Interesting preview. Less structured gameplay? That's interesting, and I'm going to guess they mean the open combat encounters. Hopeit doesn't sort of drain the polished quality of the gameplay we've come to expect..
 
The "showdown at White Forest Inn" sounds like a classic Entanglement-style standoff. It also sounds like it'll be a hell of a lot harder than anything we've seen up to this point. I wonder if there will be some trick to it (as the middle turret battle in Entanglement and the elevator standoff in Lowlife were both quite easy once you developed strategies for them).
 
I can't wait any longer :( I have the whole summer holidays to wait.
 
Looks like the same place. Wet floor, helicopter, warehouse... the plot thickens.

This really doesn't give out much new stuff, but damn does it hype me up! :D
 
Seriously cannot wait to sitting down to play HL2, EP1 and EP2 in fantastic graphical detail and performance. Cannot wait!
 
Those gits, calling the Antlion guard a "king/queen", hehe. Had my hopes up for a short time...

But hell, who cares. Soon we'll be playing it, and that's all that interests me.

And Antipop, you didn't name yourself after Antipop Consortium by any chance, did you?
