Max ammo and damage modification

I want some script file or something, that lets me change these values permanently, so I don't have to retype everything with each new level/checkpoint in the game...

Btw I have some general knowledge about coding but I'm completly new to source or such, so pls explain what, how and where thoroughly.

Just start a mod, compile the code, and there should be a script file. Modify these then open up the console and type in map <MAP GOES HERE>

There you go. I *Think* that should work.

Um, I want the code(or file or whatever) and just to put it somewhere and work...
