Hello!

Well after my combat knife I decided to do a sword, and here's the result after 50mins. (God I love XSI :D)

Looks good. How do you do renders like that without the softimage XSI watermark all over it?

Thanks.
Uhm, I guess the bad quality (JPG) doesn't show much of it.
Don't know really.

It looks very good! I think the handle should be a little bigger though (maybe it's the angle that's fooling me though.. speaking of fools hehe)

Thought this thread had died. :rolling:

Few days ago I fixed the handle and the lightning already, here's the final result:

I've learnt so much with making these simple weapons.
BTW: here's a Thunder Hammer I'm working on.

(I will change the wood texture when I'm not lazy.)

If anyone know how to check the polygon count in XSI, feel free to tell me.

Wow, looks cool! How long have you been modelling?

Thank you Suomi man!
I've been modelling for about, 6days within a month.

The sword must be my 7th model ever, and the thunder hammer is the 8th.

Dalith r tif thunder hammer from tibia :/

nice modeling tho, are you gonna help cip make a 3d tibia? ^.^

Very good. Glad you are liking XSI. You should download foundation and use if for free for 30 days (without restrictions) to do some nice renders.

To show polygon counts in XSI you have two options:
1. Select the object and press "Shift+Enter"
2. Under the 'eye' icon on the top of the viewports, choose 'Visibility Options' (bottom option). Under the 'stats' tab turn on 'Show Selection Info' and if you want 'Show Scene Info'
