Nothing beats the original. The laughing is weird too for each new language as well and idk why. Sounds like a smokers laugh for the French.

It's a homonym, it has two meanings. The first is to introduce yourself, and the other is - like you mentioned - to imagine something.

It's the same in Dutch.
