Minor sound issue

Hi there

I've not played HL2 for a few months, but I started it up just now and noticed about a 1/2 second delay between any animations on the screen, and the sound that they made. So people's lips were moving 1/2 second before they actually made the sound, buttons, footsteps, the lot.

Is this a common problem, or just limited to my computer? Its not happened before, and not on any other game either.

Just wanted to know before I started investigating properly. I haven't been able to find other topics on this.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game again. It works wonders.
