motherboard and ram question

hey me again

ok so with the new motherboard bundle im getting it comes with 2*256mb ddr ram ... now i have 512mb i want more so i was gonna get 512mb ddr 1 stick but the motherboard is dual ddr so does that mean when ever i want more ram i cant just buy 1 stick? so in other words ill have to buy another 2*256mb or 2*512mb ?

itts got dual channel ram.

this means that 2 of the exact same ran will run slightly faster.
Its barley noticble on an AMD system

to run dual channel you need 2X256 or 2X512

if you are using the 2X256 and add a 512 it will work but you wont run dual channel but it doesnt matter much anyways.
