I've seen demands for DLL files that'll enable you to mount multiple GCF cache files,
even though the code is public available at the Valve Developer Wiki, not everybody
knows how to code. Therefore I decided to do the work for them (you ;)).

If you have suggestions, comments or found a bug, please send an email to me at

You may redistribute these files as much as you want as long this readme file
is included and the appropriate credit is given.

Feel free to link to my blog, where I'll be posting updates etc. ;)

I believe that is all, thank you for using my binaries :)

Note: this is only made for singleplayer!

Yes, what can we do with that? GCF files don't actually do anything without DLL files using their content.

Have you even checked out what my "mod" contains? It contains two DLL files that'll mount the GCF files you want, allowing mappers to use content from other Source engine games.

oh ic now I get it. but wasnt that already possible before. One could use the Hammer Editor and set his resources say to DODS. or he could set it to HL2 itself.

Yeah, but that wouldn't allow multiple GCF files, such as DOD:S and CS:S at the same time :)

Seriously, all you'd get would be materials and models (sounds too), but the DLL files, that put them together, aren't in GCF files.

so you are saying i can load all DOD HL2 EP1 and CSS resources all at the same time in hammer? well okay, nice. i guess it may be helpful.

Description? :x
What part of the description don't you understand :)?

I should probably add to the thread, that this won't do anything to Hammer, instad of just the readme :)
Edit: Well too bad I can't. :-/
