How do I reinstall activex for mozille firefox? It keeps performing illegal operations on me, and sometimes ends up in the browser crashing.

Don't reinstall activeX. It is the devil

Then how do I view the applications that use it? Seems to be used everywhere.

I haven't run into it except for evil fileplanet.

If you're trying to run apps with it, bad news. One of the only things activeX is good for is making spyware and the likes. I know, as one myself, that flash developers tend to use it, but that's bad coding, on the xhtml side of things.

Well then, how do I disable it?

One of the major plus' with Firefox is that it doesn't have activeX enabled by default! It is the devil and I just switch to EI when I want to use it for something specific.

Same here. Does the site work in IE when you try it, because if it also gives you the illegal operations, then activeX maybe be messed up on a global scale and you may need to reinstall it, although I'm not sure if you could. Possibly by installing IE again, although I'm not sure.

i got a problem with Mozilla. the images load up really slower than IE. im using cable connection with 3 MBS bandwidth. sometimes, the images wont even load up. some of the examples are the headbar of any sites like cnn.com.

Hmm could be a number of things, could be that the site is busy, could be that you have something else working with the net connection in teh background, could be an extension or theme that is causing prooblems with FF. Try running FF in safe mode, just to eliminate the chance of any extension/theme problems.
