MP5_Project What an i dooing wrong Please :)

Well hello again fellas, Just been messing about with Polymesh and stuff.
Ive acctualy taken onboard loads of what you guys have said about Bolion and that sort of thing and i have only done it one single time on this work in progress.:)

All im trying to get out of this thread is What Am I Dooing Wrong With This Polymeshing.

im going to post up 3 shots and see what you think ( personaly i think im improveing all the time now.

It acctualy took me quite some time to try ang get the Back end of the Weapon to look something like, ( LOL i mite have put my foot in it there when you guys see it) remember guys im realy still learning and the model im going to show you is very very unoptomised :)

I think this looks crap. Not realy the effect i was looking for any advice would be nice :)

Ps Acctualy the more i look at this shot i want to cut my self with a Rusty Bread knife ;)

Im acctualy talking about editablemeshes/Vertexes...

Not polymesh ... Flipin heck all this is getting confuseing

it looks like you have some vertex that have decided to move themsleves all over the place. look throguht model and move/delete these.
 
yer it looks like vertex's have gone on walk abouts,

You need to look closely at it, and start to move vertexs that overlap, as soon as they are in a good possition that blacking should go...hope this helps.....
 
ermm sorry if i sound silly, but wat is Polymesh ?? u mean Editable Mesh ??
 
yer, thats what he means.... ;)

Although i think Poly mesh is something different...i'm too lazy to look now, i'll check later when i do some modelling and renders for my OES thread :P
 
Yea it was polly mesh i was meaning sorry for any confusion :)
