I guess that overwhelming urge to spam must be suppressed. The common misconception with misc was that it was a spam dump, it wasn't. It's purpose was to post miscellaneous things not worthy of a full thread, which unfortunately a great deal of people abuse. It would be great if it worked, but it doesn't. We'll look into it again at some point, but halflife2.net has always been against a 'spam forum' and this hasn't changed.
