Music creation programs

does anyone know of any program where i can like create my own music from scratch, like choose what notes go where and for what instrument. I just wrote out a song for my shitty band, but we cant practise for like another 2 weeks, so i want to know what itll sound like, is there a program where i can do this?

Best I know of is things for creating MIDI music, its good if you want a preview of what something will sound like.

thanks a lot, i would of liked something that i could create music with more options, where i basically had a virtual guitar/bass/drumset in front of me that i could choose to put in whatever i wish and make it sound however i want, but ill try this out

Logic audio Platinium is the best program out there, it has a built in sampler and tons of effect..
Its really easy to use for noobs and Advance users as well.

try searching for tabit its 20 bucks to register, but it has the whole virtual drums/ guitar stuff.

Anything from Finale is the best, man, I always use Finale printmusic, or Finale Allegro:cheers:

The worst thing about those programs is that they arent cheap at all (printmusic for $86 adn the original Finale for over $400)
