Is there anyway to listen to the music in HL2 on Windows Media Player? Is there a folder with all of the music files? or do i have to buy the soundtrack which i cant find anywhere.

Yes there is. Google for GCFScape, it can unpack most of the .gcf:s which hold the actual game data including music.

I just dled the program but im not to sure what i am to "open" with the program? and what do i do from there?

i know a site with a lot of soundtracks, but im not sure, if i can post a link to it.
its called gabaldia hotel. tell me, if i can post a link, its whole site about anime and game soundtracs, and i have also seen half-life in there...
