My connection keeps ****ing up...

What the hell is wrong with my comp NOW!? Well now every time I'm in the middle of a game, I'm lagging, or get disconnected altogether. My internet randomly stops working and I have to reset my cable modem. It's constantly "aquiring network address" and idk what the hell is wrong. Any suggestions?:rolling:

First, have you called the cable company? Are you on wireless? Wired?

yes they said everything is fine and im wired

This happened to me too about a month ago. I use Cox High Speed Internet, but they said the same thing that the signal coming to my house was okay but they sent someone in, put in a new wire and everythings good now. You should get whoever your with to come down and check on it.
