I went into ebgames.com today, and counted up every last cent I paid them for all the games over the years. I wanted to see how 'valuable' a customer I was... when I thought about BITCHING to ebgames for using UPS instead of fedex, causing my oblivion to be ultimately delayed and gone missing.



First Order: Dark Age of Camelot. 8/30/2001 2:32 AM.

Latest Order: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. 2/15/2006 2:35 PM.

Total Orders: 77, not counting cancelled orders.

Total Items: 92, not counting cancelled items.

Total Spent: Four-Thousand, Seven-hundred and fifty-four dollars, and seventy-one cents. 4754.71

Number of times moved from then to now: 3

Oh yeah... and...

Number of times i've moved since going with ebgames.com: 3 times.
 
I'm more impressed that you've moved three times in 5 years....
 
If only every PC person in the world ordered that much stuff... The economy would be much better ;)
 
It doesn't even count all the games i've bought. For example... half-life 2 on steam... some games from amazon. Some games from other game stores. Some games purchased at actual retail outlets.

YOU ARE NOT HEALTHY. Go outside once in a while will ya! You know that light that filters through your closed blinds half of the day? The light--believe it or not--comes from a surprisingly close star we here on Earth call "the sun." And you can do many activities, ones that you can benefit significantly from, in the light that this star casts on the Earth. I think I made my point.

I will get about one a month but there are long periods where I don't buy anything at all.


But that is still an insane amount of money...and games.

EBgames will not see 1 penny from me ever again. MY local EB is about 99% console (Which I hate and boycott) and about .01% PC games. The other .9% is DVDs and Toys.
 
Wow, 4 grand on games...I know I havn't spent that much over the years. christ.

You go girl. but remember, next time you want to buy a game, just send me the money instead. :D

You go girl? WHA!? And its not 4 grand, its closer to 5 grand... 4.7 grand <grins>
 
I can't be too preachy though. I've easily spent that much on computer parts since I started building my own compters ... and guess what, that money wasn't going toward building a better word processing machine!

Ohhh don't even get me started on how much I must of spent, that added to the computers i've bought.
