and here we go...
so the balck mesa lab was going to xen to collect specimens and whatnot. nithalith or whatnot was controling teh xen creatures trying to defend xen.
the admin (breen) says to test this new sample of 100 purity to be tested, gordon puts the rock in the laser and bam.
after black mesa, gordans put in work for the gman, there was an OLD expansiion pack whose name i do not know, but the gman lead u into an office, told u about a war between xen and race x, and set u off. heres a hint: u go into a teleporter and hear a fly buzzing, the barney says "whoa, dont want that to happen again" and shoos the fly off. i may reinstall the game later to tellu guys about it.
after that, the gman freezes gordan and pops him out latter in hl2
before that
breen and teh gman organize a new lab/military project to go into the now vulnerable xen. they take more samples and start learning about teh brain baby's mental powers and cbynetic impalnts ( he had a big antenna sticking out of his ass)
so the basics for the combine army are laid. cybernetics are used in the strider and flying manetee (gunship), along with the combine soldeirs, to keep them in line or such. or to make them in the first place
at one time, breen get greedy, and makes a plan. he slowly takes control over the new labs and of the proto-combine weapons and army being made, and waits.
later he sets off some nukes, they go blow up a good portion of the human race, and breen goes in to pic up the pieces from his isolated lab with a new, fresh, hightech army.
ta da. of course there could have been WW3 too and then the nukes fell, but whatever.
