My Opening Scene

ok time for my opening scene...

You awake in blackness to see gman slowly walking towards you, quietly speaking and laughing. He then explains about the vautagaunts, his plan and what he 'advises' you do next. You then become concious lieing under a huge pile of train rubble and coaches. You hear the gravity gun being used not too far away. A coaches remains are then blasted away to reviel alyx, brused and bleeding sightly. She lifts you out of the ruins before giving you a hug and a slight kiss. You both hear huge clashing and roaring as you see combine soldiers, robots, vehicles and creature of all kinds flying and driving over a high bridge to your right. You then see the huge portal storms begin to form over the remains of city 17, alyx is shocked before deciding to hurry on and attempt to reach white forest. Alyx then walks to the edge of the half destroyed bridge, sighting a way down, the ground infested with roaming antlions and dead civileans and combine. You then head both carefully climb down, before heading on through the valley. Soon you meet up with a vautagant and 4citizens who lead you to huge tree covered fields covered by small lakes and old houses. Shortly you find a house inhabited by some young men and women refugees, they give you their 'project' to help you reach white forest before the combine. You and Alyx set off in your new 'musle car'.

There you go! I know it was the opening scenes, but hey...

before the spoiler by eurogamers, i actually had this idead:

you wake up along with alyx, and u realize she is hanging on the cliff while some citizens are trying to rescue both of you. then she falls and so do you. she falls past an old mine while, you a vort and a citizen fall through the cave which is the antlion nest. you finally battle your way out with only the vort alive. then, the vort finds her body and picks it up and says "this is more than anyone can bear"

then the vort uses its powers to reawaken her and you, vort and her head off into the woods to a nearby base where you get the car. all of this fits with the pics and the vids and the basic story..

ur right it does, but it doesnt sound like something valve would do, i think it would b quite funny if on ur way through the vally, you meet up with dog and a dead strider

I would like to see a battle between Dog and a Strider, where you can stand off to the side and watch it happen.

That would be dull just stilling there watching it. It would cool if they somehow showed it while you were doing something else (driving, fighting etc.)
